Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and explains procedures in lay terms.
• Performs radiologic exams and positions patient per SOPs.
• Operates x-ray equipment and monitors patient condition during procedures.
• Labels and archives images with correct identifiers and dates.
