Job summary

The successful candidate will have an approved Radiologic Technology program, NYS licensure, ARRT registration, and at least one year of radiologic exam experience. BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Requires ARRT registration.
• Minimum of 1 year radiologic exam experience.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and translates procedure into lay terms when needed.
• Performs x-ray exams according to standards and SOPs; positions patient and adjusts equipment.
• Monitors patient condition and reports issues to Radiologist; handles image labeling and documentation.
• Processes and maintains exposed images; logs exams and ensures proper tracking.
