Job summary

Northwell is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in New York to operate radiographic equipment, prepare patients, and document procedures. You will ensure accurate image labeling and maintain patient records while upholding safety standards.

The role requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, NY licensure, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with at least one year of radiographic experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and explains procedures in lay terms as needed.
• Performs radiologic exams per division standards and SOPs; positions patients and adjusts immobilization devices.
• Monitors patient condition and reports any issues to Radiologist; records patient history data from requisitions.
• Labels images and maintains required records; ensures correct side labeling and date/patient ID on images.
• Performs related duties as required.
