Job summary

Northwell Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist in New York to perform x-ray exams and operate imaging equipment in accordance with procedures. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and relieves anxiety by explaining the procedure.
• Performs radiologic exams and positions patients per SOPs.
• Adjusts equipment, monitors safety, and reports patient changes.
• Labels and archives images, enters exam data, and maintains logs.
• Performs related duties as required.

Education
