Job summary

Northwell Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, prepare patients for exams, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.

Duties include patient positioning, performing radiographic exams per SOP, labeling and archiving images, entering exam data, monitoring safety, and reporting any concerns to the Radiologist.

Minimum one year of radiologic experience and NYS licensure with ARRT registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State licensure as Radiologic Technologist (or CT licensure).
• ARRT registration is required.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam and explain procedures in lay terms.
• Position patient and perform radiographic exams per SOP.
• Label and archive images; ensure correct right/left markers.
• Enter exam data and monitor patient condition during procedures.
• Perform related duties as required.

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
