The role supports clinical documentation and may include front desk duties. Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED and be in a radiologic technology program or graduate, with licensure as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and enrollment/graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program preferred.
• Radiologic licensure as required by state (Limited Scope or General X-ray) and BLS preferred prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations for specified anatomical parts within licensure.
• Positions patients and uses protection to ensure safety.
• Selects technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Assists with medical documentation and other clinical duties as directed.
• Contributes to a collaborative, patient-centered care culture.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and adheres to policy requirements.
• Travels to other facilities or adjusts hours as needed by management.
• Performs front desk duties such as registration, scheduling, and phone coverage as required.
