Qualifications

• Licensure: Limited Scope Radiology Licensure or General Machine X-Ray Operator Licensure as required by state.
• BLS by American Heart Association (preferred at hire, required before independent patient care)
• 1 year healthcare or clerical physician practice experience preferred
• Epic EHR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform provider-ordered radiographic examinations for specific anatomical parts allowed by licensure.
• Position patients properly and use radiation protection.
• Set electronic/technical factors to safeguard patient, x-ray tube, and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Assist in medical documentation and clinical assistant duties under provider supervision.
• Promote positive culture and teamwork; deliver excellent patient care.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas and equipment.
• Travel to other facilities or adjust hours to meet patient care needs as directed by manager.
• Handle front desk tasks such as registration, scheduling, and phones as needed.
