Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be in final year or graduate of a radiologic technology program.
• Licensure: Limited Scope Radiology or General Machine X-Ray Operator per state requirements.
• BLS with American Heart Association preferred or required prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations for specific anatomical parts allowed by licensure.
• Positions patients and uses immobilization techniques with radiation safety.
• Adjusts technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Assists in documentation and clinical duties as directed by the Provider.
• Contributes to a culture of teamwork and high-quality patient care.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and equipment; adheres to legal responsibilities.
