Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional/architecture/engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for leadership roles.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with cross-functional directors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and claims prevention activities.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes and monitor emerging technologies.
• Oversee assignment of qualified staff to projects and effective use of worksharing.
• Develop strategic plans with market sector directors and leadership at multiple levels.
• Lead applied research strategy and engagement with industry organizations.
• Build relationships with universities to support workforce development and capability building.
• Represent HDR in industry organizations and publications.
• Monitor performance and facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement.
