Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead the Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Management program. The role focuses on directing technical capabilities, risk management, and client development across HDR’s global practice.

You will mentor leaders, drive quality assurance, and shape strategic plans with market sectors and operations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience, with professional registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement for leadership role in HDR's Wastewater/Effluent Mgmt.
• Minimum 10 years of related field experience.
• Registration for Architecture/Engineering or related field preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through reviews and advisory services.
• Drive QA/QC processes and coordinate with Quality Manager.
• Oversee development of technical tools, standards, and techniques to improve service quality.
• Mentor technical leaders and manage staff deployment across projects.
• Support client management, proposals, and project development.
• Participate in industry organizations to advance WTEM capabilities.
• Coordinate strategic hires within the business group.
• Oversee training and workforce development for WTEM staff.
