Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead HDR’s Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Management programs within the Water Business Group. You’ll shape strategy, build teams, manage risk, and elevate technical capabilities across projects.

You will mentor technical leaders, coordinate with Market Sectors and Operations, participate in proposals and client development, and engage with professional organizations to raise HDR’s profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for technical design leadership.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate with other HDR directors.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead risk management, QA processes, and tool development.
• Oversee staffing and worksharing across projects.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development.
