Job summary

Qualifications

• Experiences organizing and supervising a total high school sports program.
• Proven coaching success in the assigned major sport.
• Strong knowledge of technical aspects and current coaching methods.
• Ability to model positive character and leadership for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate program philosophy and goals with staff and athletes.
• Lead staff meetings, clinics, and professional development.
• Supervise coaches and evaluate program effectiveness with the athletic director.
• Manage budgets, equipment, scheduling, and facility use.
• Advise student-athletes on academics and athletic eligibility.
• Coordinate with principals and athletic director on events and tournaments.
