Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support daily patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring patient conditions while documenting in the EMR and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include admission/discharge support, timely response to call lights, and effective communication with the health care team. Valid BLS and state Nurse Aide registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Documents accurately in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN.
• Ensures patient call light is reachable and responds promptly.
• Performs purposeful rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Coordinates tests and treatments with departments and maintains EMR knowledge.
