Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility, transfers).
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output in EMR with accuracy.
• Conduct purposeful rounding and communicate patient/family needs to RN.
• Support admission/transfer/discharge including room setup and orientation.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Run errands, stock nursing area, and clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist in patient positioning and transport; support diet and nutrition needs.
• Maintain skin integrity and use of compression devices as directed.
• May remove IVs or perform bladder scans as needed under RN supervision.
• Follow infection prevention policies and proper hand hygiene.
