Advocate Health Milwaukee is seeking a patient care technician to assist nurses with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding and mobility. You will document vitals and track intake/output in the EMR, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.

You will coordinate tests, assist with meals, maintain skin care, and ensure proper supplies are available while upholding infection control standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Document vitals, intake/output and weights in the EMR accurately.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Coordinate tests and treatments and prepare room and supplies.
• Maintain infection control practices and proper hand hygiene.
• Communicate patient needs and observations to the RN promptly.
• Prepare and restock patient care items and maintain patient records.
