Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state of practice.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains safety culture and timely documentation in EHR.
• Possibly administers medications and therapies per protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork.
