Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position in Wound Management. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement care, coordinating with the care team in a 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an approved RN program and an active RN license; BLS is required. BSN is preferred; strong communication and safety culture are essential. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides services.
• BLS certification required; telehealth licensing considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications per clinical protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately within the team.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications.
• May float to other units as needed.
