Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time RN for the Wound Care department in High Point, NC. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and participate in quality initiatives, while maintaining high standards of safety and documentation.

The role requires 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, and BSN preferred. Expect 40 hours per week with a M-Th 8-5 schedule and potential float to other units.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• BSN preferred; strong knowledge of safety and ethics.
• Experience with evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives and care process improvements.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitor conditions, adjust plans, mobilize resources, collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold safety culture and ensure timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicate effectively, provide feedback, and delegate appropriately.
• Participate in professional development and maintain certifications.
• Comply with ANA Ethics and interdisciplinary care standards.
• May float to other units as needed and serve age-specific patient care.
• Provide care aligned with department policies and procedures.
