Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Wound Care on a full-time Days schedule. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, documentation, and coordination of wound care services within the care team.

You will participate in quality assurance, safety programs, and ongoing professional development. NC licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred and one year experience in wound care is desired.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Basic Life Support certification required.
• One year of wound care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of wound care guidelines and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care within RN scope and document assessments and care in the medical record.
• Assist in coordinating wound care patients and day-to-day wound care operations.
• Maintain competencies, continuing education, and certifications.
• Participate in quality assurance and safety programs.
• Assess wound care patients and plan discharge needs with the team.
• Document care and communicate roles of care team on admission.
