Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse in Cumberland, MD to provide expert patient care and collaborate with the care team to improve skin integrity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct care for patients with altered skin integrity.
• Offer in-service programs to nursing, rehab and medical staff on wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document wound-related data and conduct clinical evaluations for admissions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $26.00 - USD $40.50 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN/LVN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1-2 years wound care experience required
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required
