Fundamental is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to assess, treat, and create care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions. The role emphasizes true passion for patient care, compassion, and teamwork.

Typical duties include consultation, staff education, and data collection on wounds to support clinical decision-making. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered for a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state.
• 1-2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $36.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
