Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to collaborate with our nursing team in assessing, treating, and planning care for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. LPNs and RNs are both welcome to apply, highlighting our commitment to teamwork and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state (as required).
• 1–2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred; 1+ years in long-term care preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $35.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.

Wage CommensurationThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
