Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (LPN) to join the day shift team in Maryland. You will assess, treat, and create care plans for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues, aligning with nursing staff to promote healing and quality care.

The role requires an active LPN license, 1–2 years wound care experience, and reliable transportation. Salary ranges from $33.00 to $37.00 per hour, with full benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in good standing with the state.
• 1–2 years wound care experience required.
• WOCN certification preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care assessment and treatment with care plans.

Position Summary

The Wound Care Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. Posted Salary Range

USD $33.00 - USD $37.00 /Hr.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a licensed LPN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1-2 years wound care experience required
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required
