Job summary

Fundamental in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Wound Care Nurse to assess, treat, and create care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions. You will collaborate with nursing staff to deliver quality patient care and participate in staff education.

Qualifications include an active LPN license and 1–2 years of wound care experience; WOCN certification is preferred and long-term care experience is a plus. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $27.50 - $34.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
