Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to assess, treat, and plan care for patients with complex wounds in a skilled care setting. The role emphasizes teamwork with nursing staff and a commitment to patient care.

New hires receive a sign-on bonus of $15,000 if they start on or before July 31, 2026. Must hold an active RN license and have 1–2 years wound care experience, with LTC experience preferred. Full-time position in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required).
• 1-2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in the management of patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $33.50 - USD $37.50 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
