Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator to support outpatient wound care centers. The role blends administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and care delivery.

You will coordinate scheduling, handle patient communications, assist with charting, and support clinical staff under RN/Provider supervision. A CMA/CNA/EMT certification and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred
• Graduate from a CMA, CMA/EMT or CNA program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES
• Current CMA, CNA or EMT certification licensed in the state of employment
• Minimum of two (2) years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting
• Prior medical coding experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls; manages scheduling and reminders
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations
• Maintains patient charts and data in appropriate databases; reconciles charges
• Assists RN/Provider with wound care and intake/discharge tasks
• Maintains office equipment and supplies; supports staff in daily operations
