Job summary

Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The Patient Navigator role supports a dynamic outpatient wound care center by handling front-office duties, patient communications, scheduling, and data entry, while adhering to CMS and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years in office administration; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
  • Greet patients and visitors; route calls to appropriate staff.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders.
  • Obtain and verify patient insurance information; pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
  • Enter patient charges into databases and reconcile them as directed.
  • Prepare monthly patient survey data and provider documentation.
  • Assemble and maintain patient charts; ensure data completeness.
  • Schedule ancillary testing and arrange patient transportation as needed.
  • Maintain office equipment and medical supplies; perform other duties.
