Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake including pre-registration/registration and initial authorizations.
• Document insurance data, authorizations and patient information in the records system to support reimbursement.
• Provide administrative support with documents, reports and routine correspondence using office software and EMR.
• Suspend scheduling of physician appointments, tests and procedures and coordinate with billing and payor for issues.
• Enhance patient experience through effective communication and coordination across departments and providers.
• Assist with medical records coordination and referrals as needed, ensuring compliance with privacy rules.
• Work under general supervision to coordinate administrative functions supporting patient needs assessments, insurance verification, registration and documentation.
