Job summary

Healogics Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services LLC is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to join its wound care team. Under the direction of an RN or Provider, you will deliver wound care, assist in vein clinic, and support case management as needed.

This role requires an LPN/LVN license, a high school diploma or GED, and 2+ years of experience, preferably in SNF or LTACH settings, with BLS competency and strong organizational and communication skills. Wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an active LPN/LVN license.
• Two+ years of LPN/LVN experience, including SNF or LTACH settings.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• BLS competency and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider direction, delivers wound-related patient care per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after training completion.
• May assist with case management under RN guidance and state regulations.
• Gathers patient information.
• Collects equipment and supplies for RN or provider.
• Reports quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicates with team regarding therapeutic interventions.
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties after hyperbaric training.
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training.
• May serve as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as delegated.
