Job summary

Healogics is the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care services and seeks a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to support the Wound Care Center team. Under the direction of an RN or provider, you will deliver wound-related care, assist with vein clinic activities, and help with intake and discharge while following center policies and CMS guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN/LVN license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of prior LPN/LVN experience, preferably in SNF

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state of practice.
• Two or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, including SNF/LTACH setting.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider direction, delivers wound-related patient care per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic as trained; may assist with intake and discharge.
• Support case management under RN guidance, per state regulations.
• Gather patient information and required equipment for RN/provider.
• Report quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager; communicate with the team.
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy-related duties after training; may perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training.
• May serve as Documentation Assistant as per Healogics policy.
