Healogics is the leading provider of advanced wound care in the United States. This LPN role supports the RN or provider, delivering wound care and participating in vein clinic activities, as well as intake and discharge procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a practical nursing credential with 2+ years of LPN/LVN experience (including SNF/LTACH) and demonstrate BLS competency, strong organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Wound care experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state of practice.
• Two or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, including one or more years in SNF or LTACH setting.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of the RN/Provider, provides wound-related patient care according to BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May assist with case management under RN direction, in accordance with state regulations.
• Gathers patient information and necessary equipment for RN or provider.
• Reports quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicates with team members regarding therapeutic interventions.
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties after training.
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) per policy.
• Performs other duties as delegated.
