Job summary

Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care in the United States, seeks a Wound Care Center LPN to provide wound-related nursing care under the supervision of an RN or provider at our center.

Responsibilities include assisting in a vein clinic after training, aiding with intake and discharge, coordinating with the RN on care plans, gathering patient information and equipment, and supporting hyperbaric therapy tasks as trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Two or more years of LPN/LVN experience, including SNF or LTACH settings.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care under the direction of the RN/Provider.
• Assist in vein clinic after Healogics Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May provide assistance with case management under the direction of RN, per state regulations.
• Gathers patient information and necessary equipment.
• Reports quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicates with team regarding therapeutic interventions.
• Performs hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties after training.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as delegated.
