Job summary

The Healogics Wound Care & Hyperbaric Services LLC in Westlake, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join the wound care center team under the direction of an RN or provider.

You will perform wound care, assist in the vein clinic, support intake and discharge, and participate in hyperbaric therapy duties after training, with patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state of practice and maintained during employment.
• Two or more years’ LPN/LVN experience, including at least one year in SNF or LTACH.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider direction, provides wound-related patient care per protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic after Healogics training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May provide case management support under RN guidance.
• Gathers patient information and necessary equipment.
• Reports quality issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Performs hyperbaric therapy duties after training; may serve as hyperbaric safety director as trained.
• Possibly serves as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
• Performs other duties as delegated.
