Job summary

Healogics is the leading provider of advanced wound care in the United States. The Wound Care Center Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role supports RN/Provider with wound-related care in a hospital setting across our centers in Florida.

You will participate in vein clinic work, case management, and documentation while adhering to CMS and hospital protocols. This position requires an LPN/LVN license, a high school diploma or GED, and 2+ years of LPN/LVN experience, with wound care experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved program.
• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Two or more years’ LPN/LVN experience, with SNF/LTACH exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider direction, deliver wound-related patient care per BLS and clinical protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic after training; support intake and discharge as assigned.
• Help with case management under RN guidance per state regulations.
• Gathers patient information and prepares necessary equipment.
• Reports care quality issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager and communicates with the care team.
• Performs hyperbaric therapy-related duties after training; may serve as a scribe as needed.
