Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Collects and enters patient charges in databases; verifies and reconciles charges.
