Job summary

Clayton seeks a leader to oversee all Team Member Experience (TMX) programs and processes, driving engagement and reducing turnover. You will coordinate Recruiting & Hiring, On-Boarding & Orientation, Job Skills Training, Engagement & Retention, Performance Management, Benefits, Salary Administration, and Payroll/Attendance, and support leadership training.

You will partner with plant leadership to assess HR practices, set goals, and implement improvements aligned with a world-class TMX vision.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Human Resources, Business / Management, or Organizational Development.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in HR or Training / OD positions.
• Knowledge and experience in HR, Organizational Planning, Recruitment, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Safety, Employee Engagement, and Employee Development.
• Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and coaching skills.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Oversight – Assesses effectiveness of HR practices and leads improvements to move toward a world class TMX experience.
• Pay & Rewards – Oversees Benefits/Salary administration and Payroll/Attendance; collaborators on pay related issues.
• Recruiting & Hiring – Oversees recruiting, screening, interviewing, onboarding and orientation.
• Job Skills Training – Partners with People Leaders to ensure training on job skills, safety, LEAN, housekeeping and site standards.
• Leadership – Facilitates leadership development workshops and coaches managers on interviewing, terminations, evaluations and performance.
• Employment Practices – Ensures compliance with federal and state laws; advises on employee relations issues.
• Performance Management – Ensures evaluations and actionable feedback processes exist.
• Additional Initiatives – Serves as facility point of contact for initiatives such as Wellbeing.
