Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver top-tier musculoskeletal care, including assessment, treatment planning, and patient education to maximize functional progress.

You’ll support clients at worksites with ergonomics, safety education, and wellness initiatives, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A PT degree, state license, 3+ years of outpatient experience, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE).
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic medical records software.
• Outpatient experience for adolescent and adult population.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of care continuum and medical team.
• Administers physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, activities, manual therapies, modalities, and patient education.
• Plans and executes a goal-directed treatment program based on assessment results.
• Assist with care coordination and ensure appropriate level of care and follow-up.
• May supervise PTA’s following professional guidelines.
• Teach in-home therapeutic exercises and stretches.
• Document patient care in EMR promptly.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Develop and deliver ongoing professional training and resources.
• Provide ergonomic and worksite assessments as needed.
