Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver musculoskeletal care and worksite health support across client sites.

You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs while educating employees on ergonomics, safety, and wellness initiatives. The role requires a CAPTE-accredited PT degree, current state licensure, 3+ years of outpatient experience, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• PT degree from CAPTE-accredited university.
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation in line with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.
• Outpatient experience for adolescent and adult populations.
• Ergonomic training/certification or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of care continuum and medical team with clinicians and allied health staff.
• Administers physical therapy treatments including exercises, activities, manual therapies, and patient education.
• Plans and executes goal-directed treatment programs based on assessments.
• Assist with care coordination and appropriate level of care referrals.
• May supervise PTA’s per professional guidelines.
• Teach in-home therapeutic exercises and stretches.
• Document care in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow infection-control policies.
• Develops staff through training and resources and ongoing education.
• Address ergonomic needs of client worksites and provide worksite assessments.
