Qualifikationen

• BS, MS or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE).
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing EMR software.
• Outpatient experience for adolescent and adult population.
• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Administers physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, activities, manual therapies, modalities, and education.
• Plans and executes a goal-directed treatment program to meet patient goals.
• Assist with care coordination and follow-up as needed.
• May supervise PTA’s in accordance with guidelines.
• Documents patient care in electronic medical records.
• Maintain infection-control and professional standards in daily work.
