Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver musculoskeletal care and worksite support. You will assess patients, plan and implement therapy, educate individuals, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at client sites.

You will also contribute to ergonomic education, injury prevention, and wellness initiatives, coordinate follow-ups, and participate in ongoing professional development. A BS/MS/Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current state licensure, 3+ years outpatient

Qualifications

• BS/MS/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from CAPTE-accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum 3 years’ outpatient experience
• Current BLS certification and basic life support knowledge
• Experience documenting care using EMR systems (state/federal guidelines)
• Ergonomic training or experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of care continuum and medical team.
• Administers physical therapy treatments including exercise, activities, and modalities.
• Plans and executes goal-directed treatment programs.
• Support care coordination and appropriate level of care follow-up.
• Supervises PTA’s in line with guidelines.
• Educates patients at home on exercises and stretches.
• Documents care in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Maintain safe work environment and infection-control practices.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and training.
• Contributes to ergonomic assessments and worksite safety initiatives.
