Job summary

Texas Life Insurance Company is seeking a Worksite Billing Specialist to manage group billing for employer clients, including generating statements and applying premiums to policies. The role includes payments reconciliation, client communication, and routine audits to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Banking or financial experience with basic understanding of debits and credits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with employer clients, agents, TPAs and policy owners.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving and ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and ensuring compliance.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and provide billing statements to employer clients and process remittances accurately.
• Communicate with employer clients, agents, TPAs and policy owners via phone or email.
• Send notifications to employers when daily variance reports are processed and verify policy owner information.
• Monitor suspense balances daily and clear ledger debits/credits to meet department requirements.
• Work monthly aging reports and perform group clean-ups, moving polices to home bill when appropriate.
• Involvement in designing and testing IT projects for system enhancements.
