Build-A-Bear Workshop in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in operations, guest service, staff management, and execution of sales and marketing strategies. You will coach Bear Builders, plan shifts, control schedules, and uphold brand standards while ensuring a safe, engaging shopping environment for guests and associates.

Qualifications

2 years of store management experience required.
High school diploma required.
Basic understanding of POS, scheduling, HRIS, and attendance systems.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in daily assignments and directing work.
Assist in hiring and promotion decisions and provide feedback.
Lead and motivate your team during shifts, enforce policies, and manage discipline.
Drive sales as Floor Leader by coaching Bear Builders and enhancing the Guest experience.
Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards.
Oversee inventory management including receiving, stocking, and counts.
Develop a high-performing team delivering excellent Guest experiences.
