Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store manager in all aspects of store operations and ensure excellent Guest service. Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience in a customer-centric environment.
• High school diploma required; further education preferred.
• Experience with POS, HRIS, time & attendance, and scheduling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining daily assignments and directing work for associates.
• Assist in hiring and promotion decisions and provide feedback on staff advancement.
• Lead and inspire the team during shifts, enforce store policies, and communicate violations as needed.
• Drive sales by coaching staff and creating a Guest experience that supports the brand culture.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and maintain a cohesive store environment.
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts.
