Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the Workplace Violence Initiative by collecting and preparing WPV data from multiple sources, and assisting with dashboard maintenance.

Reporting to the program director, the role includes generating routine reports, coordinating with committees, and ensuring compliance while seeking best practices in healthcare WPV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of applicable experience and education.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years related administrative or internship experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collects, prepares, and enters data from various sources for inclusion in the Safety Stratus WPV dashboard.
• Assists in the preparation and review of WPV data for publication, presentation, and dissemination.
• Creates and distributes regular reports from Safety Net to leaders.
• Communicates relevant data with local WPV committees and other stakeholders.
• Collaborates on maintaining materials for the WPV Library.
• Answers routine and specific inquiries when possible. Directs inquiries, when necessary, to the appropriate department or individual for further information and/or resolution.
• Assists with meeting compliance requirements.
• Researches best practices with regard to WPV in healthcare issues.
• Coordinates administrative, secretarial and/or general office support coverage.
• Performs other related duties.

Education
