Job summary

Base, America’s next-generation power company, is seeking a Workplace Operations Manager for our Austin HQ. You will own daily operations, ensure space and facilities run smoothly, and partner with IT and HR to support the team.

You’ll lead vendor relationships, manage events, and plan HQ improvements, with hands-on involvement and flexible hours to meet business needs. This role demands strong organizational skills and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in workplace or office operations.
• Strong vendor management and project coordination skills.
• Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
• Hands-on, in-person operations with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day HQ operations including space planning, cleanliness, supplies, and access control.
• Select, manage and hold accountable facilities, food and service vendors.
• Lead HQ improvement projects from scope to punch list (lighting, rooms, organization).
• Manage conference rooms, desks, tickets, and change requests.
• Plan and own events and onsite logistics for HQ.
• Forecast HQ space needs and vendor spending.
• Partner with Workplace, IT, and HR teams.
