Job summary

Elemental Impact is seeking a Workplace Experience & Operations Coordinator to join our Honolulu, Hawaii team. You will help create a welcoming, efficient workplace and support People Operations, payroll, onboarding, benefits, and IT coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about employee experience, with experience in payroll and HR processes. In-office attendance is required, and the role reports to the Head of People & Legal.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm, service-oriented approach.
• Experience supporting payroll, onboarding/offboarding, HR administration, or workplace operations.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day People Operations programs and onboarding/offboarding logistics.
• Own payroll administration and timekeeping processes, including audits with the PEO.
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding, equipment, workspace prep, and transitions.
• Assist benefits administration and respond to routine employee questions.
• Act as Hawaii office culture carrier and manage office supplies, vendors, and safety protocols.
• Support team meetings, events, and Hawaii-specific logistics.
