Sapiom, a San Francisco startup building payment infrastructure for AI agents, seeks a Workplace Manager to own the office, events, and people experience. You’ll shape the day-to-day and scale operations as the team grows from about 15 to more, partnering with the Head of Strategy & Operations to execute the cadence, budget, and people decisions.

This hands-on role covers landlord relations, vendor management, and automating repetitive tasks with AI to keep the experience efficient as headcount

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in workplace experience, office management, facilities, events, or hospitality.
• Experience running an office day to day with vendors, building, and budget.
• End-to-end event planning experience, including offsites.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Warm, polished, low-ego; capable of setting a positive tone.

Responsabilités

• Run the office end to end: landlord, facilities, security, safety.
• Maintain food, coffee, supplies, and deliveries on schedule; manage vendors.
• Plan for headcount growth: seating, rooms, and future moves.
• Own all-hands, rituals: logistics, AV, food, run-of-show.
• Build calendar of events, swag, and offsites; manage budgets.
• Administer core systems (Google Workspace, Slack) for new hires.
• Ensure a smooth first-day experience with desk, gear, onboarding.
• Welcome guests and candidates; manage candidate onsite processes.
• Run pulse checks and automate repetitive tasks with AI/tools.
