MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Workforce Management Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the workforce management function, monitor staffing levels, business volume efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires IT proficiency, process improvement experience, and strong statistical analysis skills; you will work with department heads to optimize staffing and scheduling, including events and shifts.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of relevant experience in workforce management.
• Experience with scheduling strategies and labor management practices.
• Familiarity with Kronos or similar workforce systems.

• Manage HR responsibilities for the assigned department, including hiring, training, coaching, and promoting teamwork and recognition.
• Implement Workforce Management policies and procedures as directed by the Director.
• Contribute to development and monitoring of business plans, budgets, and department operations for profitability.
• Develop and implement department goals for FTEs, vacation quotas, and scheduling across the property.
• Perform ad hoc reports with senior management and audit Virtual Roster/Kronos for cost savings opportunities.
• Adjust staffing based on events, large reservations, and tournaments while complying with bargaining agreements.
• Ensure timely schedule creation and delivery per standards set by the Director/Manager.
• Collaborate with department heads to adjust staffing models and approve changes.
• Provide guidance on scheduling, labor management, and leave management, and cover for the Director when needed.

THE JOB:

As the Workforce Management Manager, you will ensure the day-to-day operations of the workforce management department are seamless. This will encompass monitoring and evaluating the staffing levels, business volume efficiency, and correlated customer satisfaction results for all areas of the property. This position requires a strong background in information technology, process improvement experience and statistical analysis.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department to include hiring, training, coaching, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
• Implement Workforce Management departmental policies and procedures as directed by the Workforce Management Director
• Provides input and direction into the development and monitoring of business plan, fiscal budgets, and department operations to produce both short and long-term profitability
• Develop and implement department goals for the entire property in regard to FTE’s, vacation quotas and scheduling
• Performs special adoreports working with senior management and auditing Virtual Roster/Kronos for cost savings opportunities
• Adjust staffing needs based on special events, large party reservations, table games/slot tournaments while maintaining compliance with scheduling to include departments covered by collective bargaining agreements
• Ensuring the timeliness of schedule creation and delivery to the standards as set out by the Director/Manager and expectations of the business unit
• Work with complex department heads to adjust staffing models and approve schedule changes independently as necessary
• Actively advise and provide guidance to the business units around scheduling, labor management and leave management
• Assume responsibilities of the Workforce Management Director in their absence

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience required
• Prior workforce management experience, including familiarity with workforce systems, scheduling strategies, and labor management practices
