Job summary

Motion is seeking a Data Management & Reporting Manager to lead workforce data governance and regulatory reporting from its Birmingham, AL operations. You will manage foundational HR data in Workday, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and governance of structures, records, and reporting data.

You will collaborate with HR Operations, People Systems, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and Centers of Excellence to ensure data quality and timely reporting across regulatory and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in HR data management, HRIS, workforce reporting, or HR Operations.
• Experience maintaining organizational structures and workforce data in Workday or similar systems.
• Experience executing mass data transactions, data loads, data conversions, and workforce data management.
• Experience developing and maintaining operational reports and compliance-related reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data validation, and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation, validation, and delivery of workforce regulatory, statutory, and compliance reporting.
• Support EEO reporting, payroll-related reporting, and audit requests.
• Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Maintain reporting controls, documentation, and validation procedures for audit readiness.
• Develop and distribute HR operations and workforce reporting to support service delivery.
• Coordinate with HR Operations, People Systems, and other stakeholders on data governance.
