Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing Ft. Myers, FL practice. You will manage a heavy caseload and hearings, with opportunities to contribute to a statewide workers’ compensation initiative.

This is a platform to advance in a nationally recognized firm with significant case inflow. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of workers' compensation experience, strong client service, and top-tier advocacy.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) / Law degree
